You Have Made Me Endless

The left side of a small plant struggle to grows after a harsh environment meanwhile the right side of the same plant grows with leaves nourished by the rain drops and poured water from a broken bowl

YOU HAVE MADE  ME ENDLESS

"You have made me endless, such is Your pleasure.

This frail vessel You empty again and again, and fill it ever with fresh life.

This little flute of a reed You have carried over hills and dales and have breathed through it melodies eternally new.

At the immortal touch of Your hands, my little heart loses its limits in joy and gives birth to utterance ineffable.

Your infinite gifts come to me only on these very small hands of mine. Ages pass, and still You pour, and still there is room to fill."

Prayers of Rabindranath Tagore

By Herbert F. Vetter

----------------------------------

Once some time ago, I had an urge to transform those words from Rabindranath into an art after read the book that I borrowed from colleagues, because his words just addresses correct affirmation on the up and down of the life journey.

Originally, watercolour on A0 Paper. Year 2012.

The physical artwork had been gone, because I didn’t took it with me and I assume it might caught fire in the old house in Jakarta where my family and I had rent before. Luckily I still have the picture of this.
