Hello!
My name is Indah Sulistiana. I am Indonesian living in Austrian village. Trees, natural landscape and parks, rural, changes of season are inspiration of my art since I am living with my family now in rural instead of big city. Draw, sketch, and paint them are very therapeutic. And to be able to create awakening arts that contributes joy for the others is my delight. You can see my collections which might speak for you.

Educated in architecture had given me the opportunity to travels during professional works, live abroad, study and research, and changing life seasons. The memories collection in Indonesia, Japan, Spain, Italy and Austria gives me different settings and surroundings that I use in my illustrations.
Trained in building assessment for repairs and renovation in the field of heritage and wooden structures gives me knowledge on repurposing, giving new life and function for old buildings rather than building a new one. And with the blend of early teenage enthusiasm on experimenting watercolour sketch and keen on biology, my passion is evolving to enrich the spaces intentionally with my artwork.

Reading for my kids everyday expose me to many children picture books which inspires me a lot on how images or illustrations become essential and powerful ignition for early young mind to learn. My concern shifts too.. from wooden buildings to the trees as we need them universally to restore water and air. That’s why you see a lot of trees in my illustrations.
